QUENSH brings together the sciences of Quality - QU, the Environment - EN, and Health & Safety - SH to form the new word.
The purpose behind this collectivism is to bring together these three sciences which are also assessed and accredited separately into a single accreditation duly supported by the appropriate accreditation bodies in combination.
Already there are several examples available of companies who have qualified to ISO 9001;2000 for quality, to ISO 14001 for the environment, and to OHSAS 18001 for health and safety under the new single accreditation format.
Some companies are already working toward maintaining these three certifications through a single assessment.
'the Quality Register' sees QUENSH as the logical progression for industry and commerce and is gathering together the details of people with experience of these three skills in conjunction one with the other.
